Hamish is a razor sharp study of humanity. His dialogue is fast and furious and coughs up countless conundrums in the form of comedic fur balls, so rich in observational humour.
I am thinking French and Saunders type vibes…The flight of the Conchords, Kit Flanagan, Ben Elton, Tom Stoppard, Neil Simon even.
Go out there and support independent edgy comedy you bunch of slack arses!

Kitty Litter is one of those shows that stays with you long after you leave the room. Hamish has created a work that is bold, funny, and completely fearless. The dialogue is sharp and rhythmical, capturing the chaos of impulse and emotion in a way that feels both heightened and painfully real.
Kitty Litter is silly, messy, uncomfortable, and wildly recognisable. It pulls you into the room and doesn’t let you go as two people make increasingly terrible decisions in real time. It feels alive, urgent, and exciting, and it’s rare to see a new Australian work commit so fully to its voice.
If you love sharp writing, bold performances, and theatre that takes risks, go and see Kitty Litter. Support this show, support new Australian work, and don’t miss the chance to experience something this funny, this unhinged, and this alive.

I have always loved Hamish’s work and Hamish’s brain - there is something deliciously lateral about the way he thinks.
Kitty Litter is eruditely absurd, tantalisingly twisted…and, oh so, clever.
I’m so glad it’s going to give so many more people a chance to see what a gift this human is to this industry. If this is an indication of where the industry is heading, I am so excited!
